Printer sharing worked on OLD server not on NEW EX495? HELP! RRS feed

    Sharing USB printers (Brother Laser, HP Deskjet) was easy with my OLD WHS (home made from an old pc...) as I simply plugged in the USB cable into the WHS and it came up "Found Device", installed drivers, good to go.

    When I plug the same printer into my NEW HP EX495 Mediasmart server absolutely NOTHING happens.  Tried the 3 different USB ports on the back of the EX495 and none of them allowed the EX495 to find the printer. 

    Where am I going wrong?

    Printer sharing is not support on Windows Home Server.  However, when you plugged the printer in did you notice anything in device manager?  Perhaps you would need to download and install the drivers for this printer?
