    Can I write MCSD-Webapplications certification straight away without having cleared MCTS exams? or should I take the MCTS exams first then write MCSD.

    Probably better to do them in the order they were designed.  But there is no pre-requisite for the MCSD exams.  You can take them in any order you like.
