OCS Call redirection for a softphone Only client RRS feed

  • Call routing is planned to go PSTN=>Nortel 61C=>MGW=>OCS


    If I have a user that only has a soft phone and their computer is not booted up, does the OCS server realize that there is no active endpoint for current calls?


    If so is it possible to setup or can the users setup a call forward to a cellphone or other none OCS phone for when their softphone is not connected or computer is not booted up?

  • An Enterprise Voice enabled user can set their own Call Forwarding settings which include immediate forwarding, simultanoues ringing, and redirection of unanswered calls.  These rules apply regardless of whether or not the client is currently signed into the Communicator client.


    For example, I have my client configured to automatically forward calls into Exchange UM after 20 seconds of answered ringing.
