  • Question

  • Dear all,

I am looking for for the following solution:

    1. How to trigger a workflow when a Business Process is switched.

    2. If a Business Process can be switched dynamically/automatically based on a field on a form.

    Any help/guide is greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Regards

    1. Yes, you can. Create a workflow to trigger off of update of the processid attribute.
    2. Check out How to change process and stage programmatically

  • Hi,

You can configure your workflow to run on update of the stageid as said by Ronald and your workflow will only execute when you will click on next stage

  • Vinay, as you indicated you would like to trigger a workflow off of Business Process switch event, all you need is to create the workflow that monitors processid change as I said earlier. No need to use stageid unless you also want to trigger the workflow for each stage transition within a single Business Process.
