How does one set the custom properties that are shared between plug-ins.

  Hello,

  SharedVariables are used for passing of data between plugins that are executed in one batch and for one Message (for example Pre Plugin abd Post Plugin of some entity). Recheck following articles that explain how to use SharedVariables and what are typical usage scenarios:

  Please tell me about IExecutionContext.SharedVariables.  What will I find in that collection?  And the answer isn't "custom properties."  The answer is values that got in the SharedVariables from ... that were set by ... and are accessed by doing...

  the answer IS "custom properties"

  As explained by Andrii and the links he posted, a shared variable is a custom piece of data passed from a pre to a post event.
