Windows 7 Build 7600 - Copy Not Genuine Message RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought this computer just a couple months ago at a local Fry's Electronics store it was a bargain $700 with decent specifications. It was fully sealed with tape. NOT USED! It was NEW! Now all of a sudden today it posts a message on my desktop saying that this copy is not genuine, which is total BS because I validated and had an online activation at the time I first bought this computer and now it says it's not genuine. Please help!

    Great!
Interesting report, all the same :) - it's from a version of MGADiag that is about two years old

I suggest that you go to the Windows Validation site, and validate Windows, then run the latest version of MGADiag  to check the status again.
    FYI:-
To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
