Cannot Login to Edit PRM Portal Website RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have just finished deploying the PRM Portal solution http://lb40prmtest.cloudapp.net/ with some issue along the way but all in all it was not bad for a Technical Preview. I also got some good help from the Microsoft engineers on the forum.

I will find time to post some of my findings during my deployment later on this forrum.

Now that I have installed the portal I am trying to test editing the portal so I tried to sign into the portal with my Dynamic Online CRM admin account but I can't seem to login as the page keeps returnung to the hope page without logging me in.

Any thoughts on how to correct this issue?

    Thanks - Abb

  • Hi Rob,

Thank for your response. Just to let you know I did read all the documentation for the portal and applied the 'Partner Portal Administrators' web role. My issue is not editing the site but unable to login to edit the site. I apologise if my posting was not clear. The issue is I could not log into the Partner portal site.

Anyway, I have soved the issue now by going into Windows Azure and resrating the portal deployment. After doing that I was able to login with any of my test users and edit the site with the user that has the  'Partner Portal Administrators' web role ?

    Thanks,

    Abby

  • Hi,

Make sure that your contact record in crm has the 'Partner Portal Administrators' web role assigned. See the Partner Portal Functionality and Administration Guide_V2.0.doc included in the 'Documentation' folder of the PRM extract.

    Hope that helps,

    Rob
