Problem Signature 01: SystemDisk RRS feed

  • Question

  • I cannot get Windows Vista to start. It recently froze and nothing I did would get it moving again. So I did a hard reboot with the power button and now it will not start. It's an HP dv6000 series laptop. It came with Vista installed and no recovery discs. Recovery software is installed on the hard drive. When I start the recovery console, no operating system is listed in the box to highlight. I just click next and then Startup Repair and it's unable to repair anything. The problems details are as follows:

    Problem Event Name: StartupRepairV2
    Problem Signature 01: SystemDisk
    Problem Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16386.0.0.0.0
    Problem Signature 03: 0
    Problem Signature 04: 65537
    Problem Signature 05: unknown
    Problem Signature 06: NoHardDrive
    Problem Signature 07: 0
    Problem Signature 08: 0
    Problem Signature 09: unknown
    Problem Signature 10: 1168

When I go to Recovery Manager I get Error 0x400110020000100C

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
