Is the Windows 7 Desktop Administrator track for MCITP still issued?

    Question

  • I am enrolled in a training program where I will be completing both 6292A and 6294A by May 2016.  I notice that these two tests fulfill the requirements for the MCITP Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7 certification.  But the certification is not really talked about much on Microsoft's webpage,  and most of the other MCITP certs have been phased out already.

I do plan to also take the "Configuring Windows Devices" test to get the Windows 10 specialist certification,  and hopefully by the end of the year there will be a path centered around this class for the MCSE since the Windows 8 courses are being phased out of the MCSE.  But as I am already enrolled in the two Windows 7 courses,  I am wondering more about the MCITP right now.

    Thanks for any insight.

I know its strange to be offered these courses at this point,  but it's out of my hands.
