MINOR Bug with Moving (NOT splitting) threads RRS feed

  • Question

  • There seems to be a minor bug (I think) with moving threads.  It's not urgent, so you needn't worry about looking into it until the urgent issues are taken care of.  If you look at this thread:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlsetupandupgrade/thread/d3942243-f10c-4787-96f3-72177af06ac1

At the bottom of the first post, it indicates that the thread has been moved by Arnie Rowland to "Windows SDK", however the breadcrumb trail at the top of the thread still shows the old (SQL Server) forum category.  Is this a bug, a design oversight, or a deliberate feature that I just don't understand?

  • When I followed your link to this it was still showing the wrong breadcrumb.

But when I clicked on the Title of the thread it then showed the correct breadcrumb!

This is perhaps just a temporary thing. I've noticed that when I move posts the first thing is that the post is still for some seconds listed in the original forum before disappearing from there and re-appearing in the new one.
