I'm in the U.S. and am compiling some CD's for a Russian speaking group in France of audio files (not music) in Russian. When I create the m3u in Microsoft Notebook, to be opened in Windows Media Player, it works just fine in English. As soon as I translate
the names of the files into Russian, it no longer allows me to save it as an ANSI file. I must save it as Unicode because the Russian language uses special characters. As soon as I do this, Windows Media Player will not open the file. How can I create an m3u
that Windows Media Player will recognize and that the people who speak Russian can understand what files are being played?
I'd appreciate any assistance.
