Getting email router to work with gmail incoming RRS feed

  • We cannot seem to get the email router working with gmail for incoming messages.  Outgoing messages work fine.

    Personal Email Options are set in the web client; gmail is set to enable POP;

    Email Router Configuration is as follows:

    Profile Name - Customer incoming

    Email Server Type - POP3

    Authentication Type - Clear text (but have also tried NTML)

    Use SSL - checked

    Email Server - pop.gmail.com

    Other Specified - has specific user password

    Advananced tab/Network port - 995

    When I go to Users/Queues/Forward Mailbox and Test, nothing happens, no error, just hangs there.

    Any suggestions are appreciated!
