Suggestion: remember last directory browsed

Question
-
A program called File Synchronizer by Latshaw Systems remembers the directory you last browsed to for the left and the same again for the right folder pair. I much prefer SyncToy because it allows you to save folder pairs, which makes future synchronisation operations a lot quicker and easier. But no matter how good it already is, there is always room for improvement! And it would be even better if it would remember the last directories you browsed to!

Currently when you choose to create a new folder pair in SyncToy, a dialogue box opens up where you must select the left folder. Then another dialogue box opens where you must select the right folder. But no matter how many new folder pairs you are creating, each time the dialogue box opens, SyncToy currently displays the complete list of drives of your computer, forcing you to navigate first to the selected drive and then to the selected folder and then the selected subfolder every time.
Whereas I believe that if it remembered the last folder browsed or at least the last DRIVE browsed, it would make creating new folder pairs much quicker and easier!

IMO think that is a useful suggestion, in addition to allowing you to edit the path manually or paste into it. Ping, could you note down that request for future release?Wednesday, September 2, 2009 6:22 PM
