Vote as Helpful link broken? RRS feed

  • Interesting. You shouldn't be able to vote against posts that you've submitted. In fact, "the vote as helpful" control should be disabled (on posts that you've submitted).

We do have a bug though that when you right (or someone) right clicks on the "vote as helpful control", you get to a page with a "is helpful" checkbox. Leaving it unchecked will cause a minus vote.

Also, this page that I've mention ("is helpful") page, does come up for some users if the javascript files hasn't loaded for that page (page load).

    Thanks.

  • To clarify, this was not on one of my posts, it was on someone elses post which I proposed as an answer. I was giving you this information to help you home in on the problem. I did not right-click the link BTW.

    Cheers,
    Adam.

  • OK, I see today it's no longer a link just static text.

  • Thanks. This is one of the bugs that I've already addressed. We'll look into it and possibly have this fixed in our September release.
