Struggling to Validate RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've just downloaded a copy of microsoft office after being told my previous copy was not valid.

    However after downloading this I'm still being told that my copy is not valid.

    What can I do?

  • Hello Searching for Someone,

    Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 103 Blocked VLK
    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 103 Blocked VLK
    Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 - 101 Not Activated
    OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0

    Your Fujitsu-Siemens computer has two installations of Office on it at the moment.  There is the previous nongenuine volume licensing installation of Office Enterprise 2007, and there is the newly installed but not yet activated installation of Office Ultimate 2007.

    First, from the Add or Remove Programs Applet of the Control Panel, uninstall Office Enterprise 2007, then restart twice.

    Next, open an Office program such as Word 2007.  At this point you should see the Office Activation Wizard. Follow the prompts to activate normally online.  Restart.

    Next, visit www.micrsoft.com and click on the Validate Office button.  Office Ultimate 2007 should validate normally.

    Finally, open several Office programs to make sure you no longer see the nongenuine notices.

    If you still see nongenuine notices, please post back for further instructions---in that case there are remnants of the nongenuine Office installation that we will have to remove.
