Editing default views in CRM RRS feed

  • I'm trying to modify a default CRM view, is there a way to change the filter for a default CRM view?

  • ok. If its a standard entity, then we can only arrange columns because it is builtin business logic.

    If it is a custom entity added by you,then you can edit filter criteria and all.

  • Sure. go to

    settings>>customization>>Customize entities

    select the entity which you need.

    select Forms and Views.

    Now you can see the list of Form and views. In that double click the view having type = "Default Public view".

    Now a new window appears and in that you can customize the view (can edit filter criteria, can add new columns or removing or arranging etc etc) (everything is in the common tasks in the right panel)

  • That would work fine if I had created the View but I need to modify a default CRM system view, then only thing tha can be modified that way is the columns displayed.
