DNS in the DMZ RRS feed

    Hi all,

    In the documentation for the edge servers it says that is no SRV record is found it will default to the A record.  Our DMZ does not have DNS, so we would like to use the host file... but host files can't have SRV records in them.   Can we depoy the edge server using just A records?

    You should configure your Edge servers to resolve names with public DNS servers. Can you point DNS on your Edge to your ISP's DNS servers?

    You don't need the SRV record for your EDGE server to function
    SRV is only required to be resolvable for the clients on the LAN & INTERNET
