Client for Outlook Authentication issue

Question
-
Hi All,
I recently got the Outlook Client for CRM V 4.0 working after following KB947423 (Update site to use port 81) but I am still having some difficulty.
Bascially when I connect to Outlook, while connected from outside our LAN, I get prompted for my user credentials which I input but CRM tells me they are incorrect.
I know that the Credentials are fine and I can connect to our CRM Server through the WEB while connected from Outside so I don't think its a Firewall issue.
I suspect it may be an incorrect Registry entry.
The reason I think this is because initially I got nowhere when I tried to connect via the Outlook Client while connected from outside the LAN.
I made some changes to the Registry on my Laptop and I was then getting prompted for the Credentials. I saw this as progress!
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Gilly

Hi Gilly
This looks liek it could be an authentication issue, i.e Forms Based or Windows based
We have a hosted platform and this document was helpful in getting ours working...
may be worth a shot...

Folks,
Sorry to be pushy here but does anyone have any suggestions here?
Our eval on this product is about to run out and I fear that the Company will not purchase CRM unless we can get this working which would be regrettable as it is a great product.
Any ideas?
Thanks Again,
Gilly
