I've just gotten Microsoft Dynamics 4.0 installed on IIS 7, and logging in seems to be working smoothly -- except for the help popup. Any page that tries to reference help.aspx receives the following error:
HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized
You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers.
I've tried checking to verify the file actually exists (It does), but I'm really not sure what else could be wrong since the rest of the program is functioning without problems. I'm logging on through a registered domain name, and have it set up to not prompt for password entry since I'm connecting through the intranet on the same domain as the server.
This is a common issue that periodically happens. The fix is straightforward. In IIS manager in the CRM Dynamics web site, go to the 'help' folder. Right click and go to directory permission. Make sure anonymous access is selected.Alex Fagundes - www.PowerObjects.com
