    Yep - I'm afraid you have an MSDN key - please 'name and shame' the vendor either here and/or on Microsoft's Piracy site - <CITE>www.microsoft.com/piracy</CITE>

    As described in the Sticky, you now need to chase the vendor for a refund, and discover the costs of getting legal - remember that since MS had nothing to do with the production of the disk that your OS came with, it cannot be guaranteed that your installation has no 'back doors' through which the vendor could gain access to your data, so probably the safest thing to do is to clean-install a legal OS onto it.
