  • Question

  • Who examines the "report abusive"? I have a stalker psycho woman is mentally challenged following me around in threads and ruining them. Good discussions were ensuing but when she comes along there is only hatred, bigotry, ignorance and nothing ever gets done about this woman.

Any suggestions besides ignoring her, since that is becoming rather hard to do..

Renee Culver is the culprit. Also, she has been telling users to "Learn to code!" and other abusive remarks in which she is now removing because me and a few others have called her on her remarks.

  • Please read her last 50-100 threads and see if this person deserves an "MVP" title. She ruins threads quicker then you could bat an eyelash.

  • Renee Culver isn't listed in the MVP directory. Unfortunately that means little, only that the person concerned doesn't want to be listed.

(In the good old days it was a way to find out if someone was an MVP).

Could you give a few URLs of threads where she says Learn to code! etc. I tried scanning some threads and found a lot of more chat from her than I like to see in threads but nothing particularly obnoxious.

The other thing is that her points score indicates she has not been doing this long. People tend to be more aggressive early on (I have newsgroup posts from a good number of years ago that come back to bite me) and eventually learn to tone down their comments.

That's not an excuse for "Learn to code!" etc. (and once you send the URLs we'll be able to check the context) but it is an explanation.

  • Well, unfortunately because I called her on it, she has been "cleaning her tracks" so to speak. They are "mysteriously" disappearing. She has been on here for a number of years but was in an accident which caused her some brain damage. She has forgotten (so she claims) her password, so she has started a few accounts with MSDN.

    ReneeC, ReneeCC, Renee Culver, etc...

If I have time, I will scan some of her threads to see obvious abuse. As you say, she is mostly chat and in my opinion offers "little" in terms of help, but she can be abusive.

Thanks for at least acknowledging the post.

If you examine this thread , you will see several of her accounts, she does call some folks "liar". She asked me for my background and once I gave her a little history responded in her common patronizing tone, "Only a BS and 10 years of experience". She even swore, but the thread actually blocked it, note her "Your full of ____"

  • Another doozie

Note, some of our best (and nicest) contributors told her to basically shut up. I think Gandhi would have strangled her..
