Security Update not shown in ADD / REMOVE list. RRS feed

    Windows XP.

    Security update KB2538242 is shown in my update history list 21 times, and still, I keep getting the same critical update reminder

    for this update. If I click to install, another entry is made in the update history list all of which are shown as successfull.

    There is no entry for KB2538242 entered in the Add/Remove list.

    If possible, a solution please.
