Office 365 Outlook Archive Error RRS feed

  • Office 365 Outlook still unable to archive emails into an archive file or folder. However it is quite able to repeatedly spit out this error message:


    Error message also is lying because there is no such thing as "detailed report in your Deleted Items folder".

    Fixing this error is long overdue but no action yet by Microsoft. Any solution?

  • Could you please follow the steps bellow:

    1. What type of email account is configured Outlook? Is it POP3, IMAP, Exchange Active Sync or Microsoft Exchange Server email account?

    2. What is the size of the file that you are trying to archive?

    3. How are you trying to archive messages?

    Start Outlook in safe mode following steps mentioned below and then try office 365 email archiving and verify the result.

    * Hold Windows key + R.
    * Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter

    Outlook /safe

    If issue still persists, create new data file then move messages you want to archive to new data file and then try to archive messages. To create new data file follow the steps.

    1. Go to File>Account Settings>Account Settings

    2. Go to tab Data Files, click on Add

    3. Give any file name and press Ok.
