  • I am trying to backup by using an external hard drive.  My wife and I have separate computers and I am trying to backup to the central computer.  This is the message I receive.

    One Care could not backup this PC's files because no user with access permissions to the backup location was logged on.  Make sure the logged on user has access to the backup share, and then try running again.  Go to access on this PC and complete the actions to take.

    Because the central PC has issued the directions, when I attempt to change the settings on the other PC, it indicates that it does not have permission to change.

    I feel as if I am chasing my tail.  Any assistance is welcome.
