Can we filter threads/posts with date?

Question
-
I wish I could filter threads/posts with (by?) date when they were posted.
Thanks in advance.

I see, sorry for misunderstanding too.
Now I see that's obvious when you said filter "by" :)
Unfortunately, I believe not.
Note the setting above for NNTP. You can probably find a news client to filter by date, but not this web platform.
A popular MSDN specific NNTP bridge, which I gather some mods use is this one - https://github.com/JochenKalmbach/communitybridge3
I'm sure now armed with that knowledge, you'll be able to find more from the history, chats and tickets behind that GitHub repo.
It is unlikely any further enhancements will be made to this platform, as a replacement is currently being developed.
Best regards,
PetePS. I have passed on your suggestion and linked to this thread. For the developers of the new forum.
So you may just get your wish in the end anyway, credit to you. Good idea.

Got any nice code? If you invest time in coding an elegant, novel or impressive answer on MSDN forums, why not copy it over to TechNet Wiki, for future generations to benefit from! You'll never get archived again, and you could win weekly awards!

At the top of the list page there are two dropdowns.
Most recent post is when someone replies.
Most recent thread is when someone starts a new thread (asks a question or starts a discussion).
If you mean the posts within a single thread, the answer is no.
However, if you prefer the whole thread to be in order, without the answers at the top, there is an option if you click quick access (on the left) then settings, as shown below:

Hi,
Thank you, Pete. And sorry for my poor explanation.
What I want is:
when I specify some date (e.g. August 28, 2019),
threads created from on the date will be shown.

I made the feature request many times for more than a decade. But then the forum team decided to integrate with the MVP site instead, I guess only MVPs need that..
