JSX SyntaxError: Unexpected Identifier RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI,

    I am learning React and are using jsx for this.

    Im currently trying to import a jsx file into another like this

    import Users from "./Users";

    But I am getting a "SyntaxError: unexpected identifier" error."

    Is there something I need to configure in Visual studio. I have noticed that the import statement is being compiled to the js file and not replaced with the imported file.

    Any Help Very Welcome !!

  • Hi Craig,

    Welcome to MSDN forum.

    What's your project type, asp.net core or something else?

    If it is asp.net application, I recommend you open a new thread in Microsoft asp.net forum to talk about it. This forum is to talk about the installation of visual studio.

    Best regards,
