    For the past week i have not been able to sign into and open my Money file on Microsoft Money 2005.  I get the error message that the email and password are not correct (they are) and to go online to change the passwod (I did) and I still am not able to get in. Please help.  I've called tech support and my only option for help is this forum

    Are you in UK? Australlia? Whatever, DO NOT UNINSTALL or REINSTALL Money 2005 until you have taken certain steps. The steps include making a reliable copy of a certain folder.

    Disconnect from the Internet. Start Money, and log in offline.  Remove your LiveID. If you already changed your
    LiveID, use the credentials that were in effect at the time that you saved that Money file.

    To remove the Live ID, go to File-PasswordManager, and choose to
    remove your LiveID.  To remove or add a conventional password, also
    see File->PasswordManager.

    Any better? Let's address the rest of your problem too, even if you don't know you have a problem.
