"Current Back-up device not found" While using One-Care to back up to Ext. hard drive. RRS feed

  •   This is the error message I receive when I try to back up using windows One Care, "Current Back-up device not found"   One Care says that the device is not connected? The Ext.Hard Drive (Seagate HD) is hard wired via USB2.0. I can see that the ext. drive is accessible in Explorer (Vista Home 64) and is identified in the tree under Computer as FreeAgent Drive (G:)
    One Care Status indicator shows up as "Fair".

    I believe that the Status Indicator will improve once the laptop can back-up.
