  • I'm not sure what you've tried, so let's cover the basics first.

Apologies if you already understand this.

In order to use a control out a dll in a XAML you need 2 things in your project.

    1)

Add a reference to the dll.

In solution explorer, right click the References header and add new reference,

You have a number of options.

I would first try clicking assemblies and search by name.

If you don't find it, click the Browse button and find the dll on disk.

    2)

Add an xmlns in your xaml.

I'm not sure offhand what that would be, maybe

    xmlns:toolkit="http://schemas.xceed.com/wpf/xaml/toolkit"

You then use that reference in xaml.

    If you type in:

    <toolkit:

Then intellisense should show pop up a list of the valid options.

    Hope that helps.

  • Hi,

What do you mean "how can I use" ? Your question is not clear.

If Andy ONeill says what you want, please mark his reply as answer.

You shared link has many samples for this Control. You should start with these samples.

If you have another question, please feel free to contact us.

  • Hi,

Since wpfextendeddatagrid is the third party source which is outside of this forum scope of support .

I'm not really following what problem you're trying to solve.

Most of the people answering questions are not paid to do so.  They are not obliged to answer your question. That means if they decide they don’t like what they’re reading for whatever reason they will probably just move on. That means you want to be: Polite ,Clear and Concise , Ask a reasonably scoped question .  And a question that requires a lot of work puts people off. It’s asking for too much.

When you ask a question, if whoever reads it cannot understand what you mean then they have to either be very good at guessing or they won't answer the question.

I suggest you ask for help in below link.
