BitLocker enables itself

Some of our Dell laptops in the field somehow have bit locker enabled and we do not have the recovery key. From what we understand there are various circumstances in which bitlocker will be turned on automatically (and enabled). We are trying to understand the behavior in specific scenarios,

- Local accounts,

- Domain account

- Microsoft account.
