Sharedview crash RRS feed

  • I recently loaded SharedView onto a Windows 7 64bit operating system.  I can open sharedview, start a session, but as soon as I try to share or if I try to join a session and that person shares their screen, SharedView stops working.  I "repaired" the installation, but I have not removed and replaced it yet.

    Any suggestions.

  • I have the same problem.  I uninstalled and re-installed sharedview but no change.  I read on another forum that it seems to be related to IE9.  Are you using IE9?  I am and do not want to drop back to IE8.

  • I had the same problem. since the group has now been disbanded and Sharedview is no longer supported, I doubt they would care that much to fix it. Am sure one of the KB updates conflicts with the application.

  • I am working with a client and have been for 6 months. He has always been able to join a session that I create... until today.

    Suddenly, when he tries to join a session, he gets the message "Sharedview needs to be installed before joining a session." I had him uninstall his current program and download Sharedview again but this did not correct the problem.

    Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this problem for him?
