    How to work online plug-ins in MS CRM 2011 ? Can you explian how to register online plug-in ?

  • Hi Srikanth,

    Online plugins run in isolation mode, or in the sandbox (see here for more details: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg334752.aspx).

    You create your plugin assembly as normal (noting the restrictions for running in the sandbox). As Jan1992 said, if you have the SDK there are examples for writing plugins. Also it contains the plugin registration tool, which allows you to deploy these assemblies to your organisation, both on-premise and online. When registering your plugin assembly, you specify it to run in Isolation mode. This allows it to be deployed to CRM Online.

    Do you got the SDK ?

     

    The is a Tool called "PluginRegestrationTool" with this tool and the declarations from the sdk you'll be able to registrate it.
