Hi,
We are having a domain controller running on windows server 2008R2.
We had to power down all the servers including the domain controller due to a periodical electrical maintenance program. When we powered back the DC the dc was taking abnormally long time to start up. Eventually the DC worked and all the machines which were
accessing the DC reported no problem till date. However in the administrative events we started to receive the following errors intermittently.
the following fatal alert was received 46.
We also found that after a log off a subsequent login was taking abnormally log time. The cpu utilization was also found to be very high.
What could be the problem and how could I rectify it. I am basically looking after the sql and since our system admin is on a long leave abroad I was also asked to look into the matter. Please let us know how the problem could be solved.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Binny mathew.
