You can't hide the builtin view. but the custom views or saved views are user owned. if you share these saved views with other users they can see them otherwise they can't.

You restrict access to records and 'Views' through the security roles of the Users in the Business Unit. If you don't want users to see certain records then you need to adjust their security roles. It does not work to allow users access to records
yet not allow then access to views that contain those records.
Go into the security role for the User that you want to restrict access and remove the Read role for the entity you want to restrict. Please see this
