Steps for Assigning Basic Or Essential License to a User in Microsoft Dynamic CRM IFD RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am working on Microsoft Dynamic CRM 2013 IFD with Professional License having multiple users been created.  I am trying to assign "Basic" license to a User  and another one with "Essential" license type in that CRM.   In order to assign these license type I followed the below steps.

Microsoft Dynamic CRM > Settings > Administrator

Selected required User , opened User information and selected the License type Option as  "Essential" in the Administration section.

As per the Microsoft USL for "Essential License", CRM should NOT allow to access the functionality for Read or Write for Account, Contacts, Cases and Leads.  But I could able to Read and Write in these Entities.

Can any one suggest where I am going wrong. Thanks.
