Question
-
Hi,
I have a small problem while assingning activities. when i am assigning a task activity to another user, it is assigned to that user and that task does not appear in my activities.
But when i assing other activities(email, letter, fax, appointment, phonecall) there are getting assingned to another user, but they are still appearing in my activities.
what may be the problem?Thursday, May 14, 2009 11:55 AM

Each activity type has a different “My [Activity Type]” Filter (FetchXml query).
You may open advanced find and select the “My [Activity Type]” in the Used Saved View Picklist to see each activity filter.
Unfortunately these (public) views filters can not be changed using customizations.

Hi Adi,
system views can usually also be customized by exporting, modifying and importing a customization file.

Hi krishnaraj,
when you assign any activity to someone else you wont be able to find the same in My Activities'.
It will be in the assigned persons 'My Activities' since the activity is now assigned to that person irrespective of any Activities.
But based on your security role you will be able to see the assigned activities in the 'All Activities' View
