    Our site is: www.therussianstore.com

     

    Our main keywords are:

     

    nesting dolls

    russian dolls

    amber jewelry

    glass figurines

    russian hats

     

    But when I search on these, I really don't see our site.  I think our site is well designed, has clean code, a proper robot.txt file, a proper sitemap.xml file.  All was submitted through the web masters tools.  We've been online for a while, but still, our rankings stink.

     

    Anyone have a clue why this might be happening?  Are we penalized for something?

    Hi Nathan,

     

    You have a pretty good rank, but you might have a duplicate content penalty due to therussianstore.net being the exact same.

    Join the club mate. My site cant be found in M.S.N or live search, Even when I type the full url into the seartch box. My site http://www.roythehandyman.co.uk using my search terms the site is Number 1 & 3 & 5 in google, Number 1 & two in Yahoo. Number 1 in bbc, Number 1 in ASK. But not to be seen anywhere in Live or m.s.n !!!! Me thinks something smells.

    STOP THE PRESS! after writing my last post www.roythehandyman.co.uk can now be found in live search. But only if i type roythehandyman ! Ah well, At least I have proved that it is possible to be noticed by live search. I shall do some of the things suggested by Live and see if my ranking improves. These days, not showing in at least the first 1 or 2 pages means that you are a nothing.
