I am getting a non genuine pop up in Outlook saying it will be marked in 3 days RRS feed

  • Question

  • I saw some questions like mine, but I believe I have a different error.

My office is not retail box that I personally acquired.

I was running it fine until I installed Outlook, it start showing the message and 2 installations on the control panel.
I uninstall it (both installations and installed it from zero)
I validated it on-line and the messaging keep appearing in Outlook (still couting the days from the previous installation)

    Here is the Diagnostics report:

The report is telling us that your HP computer has a genuine retail licensed installation of Office Professional 2003.  It's likely that a previous nongenuine installation of Office or Outlook has left some remnants that need to be cleaned up.

First, visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button.  After ensuring Office Professional 2003 validates, restart the computer and open up an Office program such as Word or Outlook to see if you are still seeing nongenuine notices.

If not, you should be done.

If you still receive nongenuine notices, please go to this MS KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275/.  Usually, running the MS FixIt in the Method 2 section corrects the problem.  When the FixIt completes, if necessary, reactivate Office Professional 2003, then restart.

Revisit www.microsoft.com/genuine, Validate Office, then open Outlook or Word to be sure you no loner receive nongenuine notices.
