Is there a way to create a checklist in CRM? RRS feed

  • How would I create a checklist so that I can pull a report showing where each one of our leads are in the sales process.? I want to be able to see what steps still need to be done for each lead.

  • You can create task entities in CRM that translate to tasks in Outlook also if using the outlook client.  You could also store a checklist as a web resource as a static html page with checkboxes and expose it in an Iframe.

  • you can follow Jamie's suggestions for a checklist or add two optionlist and display checkboxes to your CRM form. This can be used in views, advanced find, charts / dashboard or report wizard.

    However for your specific issue of finding out where the leads are in the particular sales process, why not have a look at the out of Sales process that exists for opportunity and have a drop down with the various sales stages and probabilities. This will give you a better control than having a bunch of checkboxes or checklist. Having a dropdown defined sales process will allow you to use the funnel chart and having probalities will help you determine your pipeline.
