Is their a way to retrieve currency and date format of all users in ms crm 2013 online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a requirement to take a report of all the users personal settings like currency and date. Is there any way to do this in online version of CRM?

  • Hello

You could wirte a custom application (for example: consuming the OData endpoint) to get the system users information. Download the CRM SDK and look for a file called 'EntityMetadata.xlsx' (In root folder here (SDK 5.0.18)).

There is a tab with all attributes for every entity. If you filter on System User I see fields like: transactioncurrencyid, utcconversiontimezonecode,...
look for the fields you need and query them in your custom application.

    Kind Regards

  • Hi Rekha,

You can fetch the User Setting entity. Create One custom Application.

    - Fetch The system Users available in System.

    - For every user Fetch the usersettings entity where systemuserid Equals User Id.

I think You can prepare either Report or Export in Excel Sheet.

    Thanks!
