What dotnet certification to be done? RRS feed

    I have around 10 years of experience working as a Technical analyst and not attempted any certification till today. Have around 5 years into both DotNet and VC++. Went through some links in net and getting confused. 

    What are the recommended certification programs.

    Go to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/visual-studio-certification.aspx

    It shows you all the available tracks. MCSD is the latest track launched 4 or 5 months back.

    Scroll to MCTS Visual Studio 2010 and chose certifications from there. They have single exam certificates for individual area of development like:

    Windows Application (70 511)

    Web Application(70 515)

    Data Access(70 516)

    Service Communication(70 513)

    Silverlight 4(70 506)

    Decide your are and get certified. But these are going to expire by July 31st this year.

    You can certainly go for MCSD track as well and there are 3 tracks there, chose the one you like.

    MCSD Web app (70480,70486,70487)

    MCSD Windows Store App with C# (70483,70484,70485)

    MCSD Windows Store App with HTML (70480,70481,70482)
