today (2014-03-21) we got the following error during the import of a managed solution in
Dynamics CRM Online:
0x8004418F "The assembly content size '8900096 bytes' has exceeded the maximum value allowed for isolated plug-ins '8388608 bytes'."
Seems clear what it means, but the import of the exactly same solution worked on 2014-01-28.
- Why did it use to work and does not work anymore? Has there been a change in Dynamics CRM Online?
- Regarding to the error message, there seems to be a fixed limit of ~8MB for a solution plugin assembly in Dynamics CRM Online. So there is no way to import any bigger plugin assembly in Dynamics CRM Online? So we need to refactor our solution in order to
shrink it down, otherwise it just won't work in Dynamics CRM Online? Where is this limit documented?
