Config error in web.config! RRS feed

    Hi, Can anyone help me here. We are suddenly getting this message on our web clients and Outlook cannot connect to CRM either.

     

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    Configuration Error

    Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

  • Which version of CRM do you have ? The web.config snippet is from CRM 4.0, but it is running in an ASP .Net 1.1 web site. My guess is that you have CRM 4.0, but someone has changed the web site to use ASP .Net 1.1. Changing it back to ASP .Net 2.0 (via IIS Manager) should fix this

    Is it CRM 3.0? It looks like your custom ASPX page cause the problem.
