WHS domain name deregistration/reregistration RRS feed

  • Question

  • If one would like to deregister/reregister the WHS *.homeserver.com domain name, where is that done? I ended up in my Windows Live account but couldn't see anything about domains.

  • You can change your vanity domain by reconfiguring Remote Access in the Windows Home Server console.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Thanks Ken. What if you want to delete that domain?

  • "Delete" as in "free up for someone else to use"? I actually don't know if you can do that. I would bet not, as a matter of fact. :)
