Need control over auto exposure for panorama - bad result vs. previous version

  For standard panorama we need additional control over the exposure.  Linked is a previous stitch done with ICE plugin for Photo Gallery and the same done with ICE 2.0.   While the fill-in feature seemed to work well for most of the image, the exposure did not.  The original image retained the exposure I wanted with shadowed tree on the left and well lit one on the right (winter- spring feel) but the new one tried to compensate, raising up the brightness of the left side (way too far even if I did want auto-correction) and lowering the right, resulting in a less desirable image.    Ability to control exposure (and other related auto-changes) would be very welcome.
