How about repying to the questions I posed?
I can understand your frustrations (I've been through most myself!), but I do not understand your latest post - and you've negelcted to answer any of the questions posed.

Looks like the third-party program Vistalizator was installed.... note the file mismatches. Please see: Vistalizator, Multilingual users and Validation problems

I've been over to the page that you have mentioned and been over to wins support but can't find where to go from there
can you help?
john
This is really getting my goat ,I have been intouch with Microsoft and let them use my machine to fix this ,I have proved to them it is genuine and they have told me it is genuine why can't they help people who buy their products ?
you can see why everyone is going for the ipads!!
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 5:28 PM -
(have you ever tried to get an iPad problem sorted? from what I hear, it's worse!)
First thing you need to do is get back to the original langiage which came with the machine.
Then uninstall all other languages from the Installed Updates (I think!).
The run another MGADiag report, and post it and we'll take another look.
I keep meaning to play in a VM with this, but never seem to find the time :( - and then no-one posts with the problem for months.
There is a specific fix for this issue which MS Support should be aware of - it was developed by the people who sat next to the guy who used to manage this forum.
My archive got trashed some time since the proper rference was published here, and I can't find it at the moment.
I'll ask if anyone else has it.
Stay tuned :)

OK - let's go at it a different way, then.
Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....
type in the Search boxCMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
Select Run as Administrator
- the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
At the Command prompt, typeCHKDSK C: /R
and hit the Enter key.
You will be told that the drive is locked,
and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot. The chkdsk will take a few hours depending on the size
of the drive, so be patient!
After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally
(possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFCSFC -System File Checker - Instructions
Click on the Start button
type in the Search boxCMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
Select Run as Administrator - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
At the Command prompt, type
SFC /SCANNOW
and hit the Enter key
Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.
Post an MGADiag report with details of any error messages encountered. Also, please upload the CBS.log file to your public SkyDrive (you'll need to copy the file to the desktop first, then upload the copy) and post a link to it in your reply.

My sources tell me (at least I'll be able to find this one later!)
<quote>
Please recall and this time, tell the tech that you need a MSDT Manifest called "Microsoft Genuine Advantage".
It is found in the Windows 7 tab under the "Consumer Windows/Setup" category. He/she should know what you are talking about. If he doesn't, ask for a manager.
</quote>
Where did you purchase the machine? (I can see that you're apparently in the UK?)

Will do as you say and report in the morning .
The machine was made up to my spec by the firm that looks after my sons work computers, I don't know the name off hand but can find out .
thanks again for your time and effort
all the best

Hi Have tried what you said and when the CMD.EXE comes up there is 4 files and 1 program the program is CMD.EXE
Right clicked on the CMD.EXE and choose run as Administrator type in CHKDSK C: /R when the prompt came and got this ,
"THE TYPE OF FILE SYSTEM IS NTFS"
"CANNOT LOCKCURRENT DRIVE"
Then underneath it said, like you said about it should check, next time I reboot.
any way rebooted it and it flashed up I think "The file is NTFS and is fine " some thing like that and it started up in windows striaght away.
Does that make sense to you ?
John
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 8:54 PM -
Yes - except the scan should have taken at least 20 minutes!
Please carry on with the SFC scan.

Hi I repeated what you told me to do first off and this time the CHKDSK C: /R did take quite a time to run, then I did the SFC scan after and that showed nothing
I have found the CBS log file but there is nothing in it and it says access denied anyway,
"Also, please upload the CBS.log file to your public SkyDrive (you'll need to copy the file to the desktop first, then upload the copy) and post a link to it in your reply."
I'm not sure what a CBS log file is ,and not sure what public Skydrive is also ?
Hope this helps
John
thanks

DO you work for Microsoft ,they leave the job unfinished .Saturday, July 21, 2012 6:53 AM

No,I don't work for MS - sorry, this must have slipped through my net.
You almost certainly already have a SkyDrive account if you have Windows Live installed - http://skydrive/live.com - the CBS.log file is the one you said you couldn't access, and didn't have anything in it anyway - how you could tell without accessing it, I don' know! You need to copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log to the desktop first, then upload it to your public SkyDrive folder, and post the link in your reply
Have you called MS back and pointed them at the proper fix as I suggested earlier?
please run the following commands and copy/paste teh results to your reply.
NET START CRYPTSVC
SC QC CRYPTSVC
SC QUERYEX CRYTPTSVC
Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the CP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Windows, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth

How about repying to the questions I posed?
I can understand your frustrations (I've been through most myself!), but I do not understand your latest post - and you've negelcted to answer any of the questions posed.
