MS CRM 4 - Templates - 0x80041102 Entity missing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear anyone,

I'm working with customizing MSCRM 4.0 for a company and have a problem with my templates.
I tested to create a template to connect to a word document and there were no problem doing so.

Then did I some customizing to the entitiy the template mentioned above was connected to.
And now when I need to change the template, the function "Templates connected to documents" dont work.

    It only gives the message

    Failure in query tool

    The entity is missing

    with the following error code
    0x80041102

I really do belive that the problem is the test tamplate, I created earlier, is currupt in any way. And the problem would be solved if the tamplate was removed.
I have consulted a firm specializing regarding CRM about this, but they only says that the problem is in the CRM SQL and that only Microsoft can make changes to this.

We have repaired the installation and we have installed the latest roll-up. Whitout any results...

Do anyone have any thaougts or sugestion to my problem?
How do I delete the tamplate from the database?

P.S Im working in a CRM with Swedish language, so I apologize if my CRM referenses is in incorrect english

  • I went in to the SQL database and found the corrupted posts.

I took a back up of the SQL, and then I deleted them.

    Now everything is working perfect.

I think its wort a try before spending money on opening a ticket with Microsoft. If you you dont succed on your own open up your back up and contact microsoft.

    But thank you anyway.

  • I would open a ticket with Microsoft support so they can give you the correct fix for the issue.  Direct changes to the SQL database are not supported so you really need Microsoft support to intervene in order to obtain a fix that will not cause other issues in the future.
