Problem with fixit center RRS feed

    In switching from old computer to new, I 'transferred' the fixit setup to the new machine.  I get a message that I must modify ( HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NET Framework\Install Root ) to point to the .NET Framework Install location.  Have no idea what they're talking about!  I tried downloading the .NET 2.0 and 3.5 but they would not install on the machine.  Don't know what happened in the transfer but the fixit won't work.
