Your installation is not genuine – you have an HP SLIC table on a Gateway computer, using a Dell KeyThe machine was manufactured before Vista came out – let alone Win 7An OEM_SLP Key cannot be installed on any machine except using the Recovery disks appropriate for that machine. You will have to use the Manufacturer’s Recovery disks to reinstall the original OS )Probably XP Home) and then consider whether it’s worthwhile upgrading to Win7 using a legitimate upgrade (I would doubt it, personally)

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )Once saved, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report. To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.- **in your own thread**, pleasePlease also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine, but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

follow Noels instructions.
You won't see anything when you click copy. It goes to the clipboard. right click/paste and it will paste in your response.

Your computer is to old to use an OEM SLP copy of Windows.
Windows Product ID Type: 2
Windows License Type: OEM SLP<Date>20040422000000.000000+000</Date>
OEM SLP copies of Windows are only valid factory installed. You computer was made by Dell on April 22, 2004. Windows 7 did not release to Dell until July 24, 2009, more than five years later. OEM SLP copies require a code in SLIC table in the BIOS on the motherboard. Your motherboard is too old to have an SLIC table. Someone has hacked a simulated Hewlett Packard SLIC table onto your Dell in software.
SLIC HPQOEM SLIC-MPC
Obviously, there is no way Dell would ship a computer with an HP table. Someone has used a Dell Windows 7 recovery disk to install this copy of Windows or downloaded this copy from a much newer Dell and used an activation exploit to try to fool Windows into thinking it is genuine. Windows Activation Technology has defeated the exploit. You need to remove this pirated copy and replace it with a full license copy of Windows 7 or the original copy of Windows that shipped on this Dell.
