High End Games on Windows Vista Beta 2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm wondering, if anyone knows, if "High End" games, like 'DOOM 3' can be played on Windows Vista Beta 2?

Games like Doom 3, I think needs to be able to go beyond the 60 resolution boundary I discovered in the last version of Vista beta 2.  This new vesion of beta 2 is said to be geared to the many feedback Microsoft recieved from the windows community.  So I'm wondering if Microsoft fixed the 60 resulotion that the last version of windows vista beta 2 could not go beyond, before I download Microsoft's newer version.

Doom 3 runs excellent on Windows XP.

I'm so thrilled about this Windows Vista Beta 2, that I would like to try running doom 3 on it.  Microsoft Flight Simulator 4 ran ok on the last version on Vista (beta 2), but I could not tweak it regarding the resolutions.

Does anyone know, or have an idea about my questions above?

  • Voowe,

It appears your posting is not Genuine Advantage specific. In order to provide specific support for the issue you describe I would recommend you check your support options available for Windows here:
